The Teaching Contest for PKU Young Teachers has been an annual event since 2000. It is jointly organized by the PKU Labor Union, Office of Teaching Affairs, Office of Human Resources, Graduate School and the Center for Advancement in Teaching. It aims to provide an opportunity for PKU younger teachers to present teaching skills and exchange ideas on education.
PKU President Jianhua Lin attended the event. “Student cultivation is a key mission of the university. Teaching is a crucial part of our ongoing university reform. I hope that the teaching contest can serve as a long-term drive for the advancement of teaching levels among our faculty members, ”said he.
The College of Engineering has always encouraged young teachers to participate in the contest. In the past years, with full support from the COE Labor Union, many teachers achieved the first, second and third prizes.
