Research Profile

Given that the current technologies for the production of energy, fuels and materials pollute our environment more than necessary, the sustainable transformation of certain inert chemical bonds in some small molecules is of current interest, and receives more and more attentions. The research in Dr. Mo’s group focuses on the development of new generation catalysts which allow energy-related chemical processes cleaner, less expensive and more sustainable. Current projects include: 1) activation of methane; 2) activation of water; 3) direct amination of aromatics by ammonia; 4) decomposition of N-oxides and so on.
