Regulatory science with a focus on pharmaceutical quality regulation, quantitative characterization of pharmaceutical quality and its relationship to the market incentives
Dr. Qiang Zheng is Professor with Department of Industrial Engineering and Management of College of Engineering, and Director of Center for Pharmaceutical Information and Engineering Research, and Director of the Master's Degree Program in International Pharmaceutical Engineering Management, which is a collaboration program between Peking University and the US Food and Drug Administration?FDA?. He teaches pharmaceutical regulation, pharmaceutical quality and global health for graduate and undergraduate students.
Dr. Zheng’s research areas include regulatory science with a focus on pharmaceutical quality regulation, quantitative characterization of pharmaceutical quality and its relationship to the market incentives. He provides policy research support to China Food and Drug Administration and National Reform and Development Commission.
Dr. Zheng has studied quantitative modeling of biological and medical systems for over two decades, with over thirty peer-reviewed scientific publications and an international patent.
